ahhh my final for digital art class — traditional rotoscoping dsjfkhdskj I -hated- the process because my hands are so shaky and its hard to do traditional art sdjfhk but i got through it!
I still have to crop it and add music before its done, but heres the rough draft :,D forgive the quality — it was kind of a ghetto-rigged camera set up in a classroom where the light was always changing heyzeus.
based off of this from 0:36 - 0:49. If you watch that one first you can proobably tell what effects I added in myself xD the rotoscoping was mostly of just his from [its also a lot faster because of how we edited it and everything as well. My 13 second clip became a 10 second one < A >;]
Ive heard a lot around the internet that rotoscoping is kind of the cheaters way of doing animation, but I found it pretty useful to see in detail just how smooth the body can move and the weird poses it can put itself in < v > deffinately helpful for when I do straight-out-of-the-mind animations!
//rolls far far away if you have any music you think would be cool to put to this let me know aaa i need help for that//
A rare natural phenomenon turns one of Austria’s most beautiful hiking trails into a 10 meter-deep lake, for half the year.Located at the foot of the Hochschwab Mountains, in Tragoess, Styria, Green Lake is one of the most bizarre natural phenomena in the world. During the cold winter months, this place is almost completely dry, and used as a country park where hikers love to come and spend some time away from urban chaos. But as soon as temperatures rise, the snow and ice covering the mountaintops begin to melt, and the water pours down, filling the basin below with crystal-clear water.
Water levels go from one-two meters at most, to over 10 meters, in the early summer. The waters of Green Lake are highest in June, when this extraordinary place is invaded by divers, curious to see what a mountain park looks like underwater. Fish swimming over wooden benches, a grass-covered bottom, trees, roads, roads and even bridges create a surreal setting that feels like it belongs on dry ground. That’s because for half of the year, that’s exactly where it’s at.

Honestly, I’m not too happy about how this turned out - it feels rather incomplete to me, even with the mess of detail and time I put into this thing. Perhaps I just got impatient drawing so many various types of fish, haha. But this was an interesting practice with a more monochrome palette, so I’m glad I tackled this sort of image before it disappeared from my head. Enjoy!
Actually, the “door” in question is actually not a door at all!
If we turn this “door” clockwise we reveal…
…that it is actually a door frame!!
It is a piece of paneling from the doorframe in the First Class lounge based off a piece that was actually recovered:
This piece isn’t more than 3cm at maximum thickness!
In reality, if the panel in the movie was based off the actual panel,
It shouldn’t have held either of them afloat!!
I.
I…
Bless this post.
